As in the previous editions, this is a collection of brief observances regarding movies, television, actors & actresses, and anything connected with the movie & TV industries that we felt may be of interest to the reader. We hope you enjoy it.Note: In the next few months we shall be completing another book which will be titled – Hollywood at War – A look at 289 actors & actresses and their participation in the Second World War. It will be an alphabetical compilation featuring most of the actors and actresses who contributed in some way or another to their nation’s involvement in that conflict, whether that contribution involved risk to life and limb, or simply took the form of touring with USO groups entertaining troops, participating in war bond rallies, or donating their time to helping out in the Hollywood Canteen.Actors who were turned down for service for various medical reasons also make an appearance. Most of those included in our book are American, British or Canadian, but there are also individuals from other nations both friendly and enemy.
